Muzyka eksperymentalna, improwizowana, starająca się być tu i teraz
Nazywam się Julia Okulewicz i jestem debiutującą artystką. Klecę swoją muzę odkąd odkryłam, że w miłości nie ma godności i wpadłam jak śliwka w kompot. Piszę teksty cierpiące na zwłoki psychiczne, o własnych uczuciach i miłostkach, które inspirują mnie najbardziej. Na ukazanie całej miłosnej historii jest nastawiony pierwszy projekt.
Dużą inspiracją przy tworzeniu tego materiału była Birdy, India Arie i Natalia Przybysz – artystki, które potrafią pisać o kochaniu jak nikt inny i totalnie w moich klimatach! Ambicjami sięgam wyżej, niż mój apetyt, więc marzę o tym, żeby pokazać moją twórczość szerszej publiczności.
Na maxa nie lubię presji określania gatunku muzycznego, jaka jest na rynku muzycznym. Piszę to co czuję i nie zastanawiam się w jakim gatunku powstanie utwór. Myślę, że najwięcej jest popu. Trochę elektronicznych smaczków, jest jeden numer w klimacie lo-fi, czasem mi wjadą jakieś raperskie zwrotki – lubię się tym bawić i nie zamykać na jeden, konkretny styl.

My name is Julia Okulewicz and I am a debuting artist. I’ve been feeding my muse since I discovered that love has no dignity and I fell like a plum into a compote.
I write songs drawing inspiration from my own feelings, love and other personal emotions. My first project focuses on narrating a whole love story. Birdy, India Arie and Natalia Przybysz were a great inspiration during the creative process – artists who can write about love like no other and totally aligned with my own vibe. I have great expectations, so I dream about showing my work to a wider audience.
I don’t like the pressure of having to define the music genre for a marketing purposes. I write what I feel and I don’t care into what genre the song could fall into. I think most of it is pop. There’s an electronic flavours to it, one track in a lo-fi vibe and even some rap verses. I like to have fun with my music and not be closed to one specific style.
