A pop rock and folk duo with a melancholic and warm sound!
Chłodno is a duo formed in September 2019 by Julka and Szymon, two friends from Silesia. In their songs they combine the warm nostalgia of summer evenings with the melancholic tone of autumn. Combining spatial folk sounds and subtle electronics, their music merges two different perspectives and two different souls into one.
In the summer of 2020, Chłodno released an EP and independently organised two concert tours promoting the album in over 30 cities. They performed at events such as Sofar Sounds Katowice, Lato na Fortach Festival, and Arena Live in Gliwice Arena. Chłodno were also selected for the project of emerging artists of the Polish music scene “My Name Is New” by the Kayax label.

Chłodno to duet dwojga przyjaciół ze Śląska, Julki oraz Szymona, który powstał we wrześniu 2019 roku. W swoich utworach łączą nostalgiczne ciepło letnich wieczorów wraz z melancholijnym wydźwiękiem jesieni. Muzyka, którą tworzą to połączenie przestrzennych brzmień folkowych i subtelnej elektroniki. Dwie różne perspektywy, dwie różne dusze, ale w ich muzyce łączą się w jedno.
Na swoim koncie mają wydaną płytę EP. Samodzielnie zorganizowali dwie trasy koncertowe promujące płytę – w ponad 30 miastach. Zagrali koncert takich wydarzeniach jak Sofar Sounds Katowice, Festiwal Lato na Fortach, czy Arena Live w Arenie Gliwice. Chłodno zostało wybrane do projektu wschodzących artystów polskiej sceny muzycznej „My Name Is New” wytwórni Kayax.

Chłodno EP
New Single “I co dalej?”
Chłodno has released its single I co dalej? as part of the “My Name is New” project by Kayax. The song marks the start of their collaboration with Rafał Smolen, who mixed a few big Polish hits. It came together at the start of the pandemic in 2020, so addresses many emotions and feelings involved with that, as well as acting as an expression of their dreams of “a better tomorrow”. Chłodno is working with Rafał on an LP which could turn out quite surprising.
