Hańba Live @Klub Gwarek
Hańba! is uprooted, reimagined Punk music transplanted to 1930's Poland. The orchestra imagines Punk emerging in this frantic and uncertain period of interwar Europe rendering a rather eccentric and intriguing and rebellious sound. The words of Polish poets such as Julian Tuwim are delivered in brash Buzzcocks-esque vocal style. Meanwhile, banjo and accordion replace punk guitars, and pulsing tuba stands in for the bass. This is truly an experience!
