Moving Out @Secret Location

I’ve come to hear and feel the unique sound and spirit of Kraków…

I’ve been living in the Old Town for about four years. It’s meant a lot being a part of this community and it’s been a great privilege to have been at the heart of it all. As all things must come to an end, it is time for me to move out and to move on.

I felt the need to find a creative way to bid farewell to this space where I’ve built so many lasting memories. “What better way is there for a musician to do so than to host a concert series?” I thought. So the idea for this series of concerts was born.

“Moving Out” is a series of solo and/or duo concerts organised in the Old Town of Kraków. Scheduled for August and September every Wednesday and Sunday at 19:00 in a secret location shared only via email.

Each concert is an occasion to express my gratitude to the city, the neighbourhood and the people here. Most importantly, it is an occasion to honour the community of musicians and artists who have accepted me as part of the creative community and have now become my friends.

In collaboration with Kraków Music, I’ve invited some of the most exciting musicians and artists that I’ve met in Krakow. I’m also extending an invitation to other musicians who would like to perform solo or duo with me. This is an occasion to share the joy of music and pay tribute to the local music scene and the place that I, and all of us (I’m sure) have come to call home.

A few things about the concerts:

• ONLY 25 PLACES will be available at each concert on a first-come, first-served basis.
• You will receive a confirmation email with the address.
• All concerts will be on a pay-what-you-want basis (suggested minimum contribution of 20 PLN). You can also contribute online (link provided in the confirmation email).
• Arrive at the location at 19:00.
• Bring your own XYZ’s and ABC’s – as we say in Cape Town 
• Bring your slippers – as we say in Poland
