Nanga Live @Klub Gwarek (5.04.2024)

NANGA is the project of LAO CHE’s keyboardist and percussionist Filip Różański and Maciej Dzierżanowski featuring keyboardist and saxophonist Karol Gola also from Lao Che and vocalist Magda Dubrowska (Gang Śródmieście, Utrata Skład). They released their first album “Cisza w Blok” in November 2020. Różański recalls the beginnings of work on the album: “When I started to wonder how and when NANGA was created, I realised that it had probably always been there, it was enough to discover it. Everything that ultimately led to the creation of this album happened spontaneously and without any predetermined plan. We planned to release only an EP with four stylistically diverse tracks and with four different vocalists. When Magda appeared and we heard her text and voice, however, everything became clear. She needed to stay with us for longer.”
