Polish Christmas Carols in Hungarian: a Bridge of Cultures
In my childhood I spent many happy Christmases with my Polish Grandmother. I remember when Christmas carol singers knocked on our door and when we opened it the beautiful melodies flowed inside. Inspired by this memory I have created Hungarian lyrics to those Polish carols. Just recently we have recorded two of them with my Polish musician friends. We gave those traditional carols a new interpretation. These songs are meant to create a stronger bond between Polish and Hungarian people. I hope you like the idea – if yes, make sure to follow us!
