The Fake

A Wrocław-based psychedelic rock band, The Fake is comformed by Norwegian, Polish and Turkish musicians. They have been playing since 2014, but only “took it seriously” from 2018. They have gathered a modest but faithful fan-base in the Lower Silesia region, thanks to which they have sold out shows all over Wrocław and have been guests at local festivals. They have released one EP (“The Fake EP”); one LP (“The Fake Album”) and two singles (“Breathe”, “Mellowfield”). Their psychedelic rock draws inspiration from bands such as Pink Floyd, Tame Impala and The Beatles amongst others. Their sound ranges from soft-spoken songs like “She Floats” or “Mellowfield” to more improvisational, trippy and stoner songs like “The Fog” or “Shaky Mountains”.
