Pidżama Porno: 35 Years of Polish Punk Rock

It all started in 1987 when Krzysztof “Grabaż” Grabowski and Andrzej “Kozak” Kozakiewicz, two student of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, founded the band. Thirty five years and nine studio albums later (and despite a couple considerably long hiatus) Pidżama Porno has consolidated their position in the history of Polish Rock. Their concert in Kraków at Klub Studio was part of their 35th anniversary tour, which included a concert in London. Collaborating photographer Norbert Burkowski (no.photos) was down in the moat capturing the effervescence of a powerful performance paired with the energy of a multigenerational audience. Check out the gallery of photos, but most importantly, listen to PP’s music while you do so.

The celebration would’ve not been complete without musical guests. Pidżama Porno was accompanied on stage by Bajzel, Swiernalis and Jacek Jędrzejak (Big Cyc).
