Enjoy live music in a cosy and friendly atmosphere! Jazz, rock, folk, world music and more! Open mics, jam sessions and for the singing clique, karaoke nights! Their current weekend agenda (Thursday to Saturday) includes performances of local bands with both, Polish and international squads.
Once travel and gathering restrictions are lifted, we’ll hopefully see touring bands making their way back to their roster.

Tucked away in the backstreets of Kraków’s Old Town and away from the hustle and bustle of the city’s Main Market Square, Klub Buda has a buzz of its own. This cosy music venue is one of the latest additions to the local music scene, which despite the pandemic hiatus is slowly returning to stability.
Let’s clarify. The venue as such has been on ul. Czapskich for decades, as it is the property of the University of Agriculture in Kraków. It is the Uni’s official student clubhouse, as well as the social quarters of its own Association of Founders, a group of seniors with gusto for the bohemian and a contagious joie de vivre. It was once the seat of the famous “Kabaret Pod Budą” co-founded by Bohdan Smoleń. A place with an interesting history, a beautiful stage and a lot of potential.
The team behind the live music and events programme has been operating under contract with the University since the end of 2018 and has successfully built a community together with local clientele, musicians, karaoke enthusiasts, open mic crowds, international students, student organisations and cultural institutions. Closely involved with the brewing and malting sector in Kraków and Poland, they bring a unique atmosphere to the venue; and to the bar, a selected offer of classic brews by the Mining & Metallurgy Brewery (Browar Górniczo-Hutniczy).
A stone’s throw away from Collegium Novum on Planty (the circuit of gardens surrounding the core of the Old Town), you will find a friendly spot to enjoy a good beer and get to know the local music talent. Kudos to the University for fomenting this kind of collaboration and putting Buda back on the map.
