Women in Music: International Women’s Day 2023

Take a quick look at the Kraków music scene and you’ll notice more and more the presence of women in music. Let us be clear. It’s not that they haven’t been there, in fact, women musicians, singers and composers abound and their work speaks for itself. At times we wonder if we should wait a whole year to underline that fact with a blog post as this one. That is why we created the Women in Music (PL) Facebook group, so that any music project with a female component or input can have a year-round showcase platform. You can also browse the Women in Music category both, in our blog articles and in the artist profiles.
We said it before and we say it again:
…[O]n International Women’s Day, Kraków Music celebrates and thanks them all for their inspirations and aspirations, their paths and principles, their roles and resistance, their strength and grace, their creativity and influence. We encourage you (our readers) to listen to their music, but above all, to listen to their voice.

Here you have a succinct list of some new projects sprouting in the Kraków music scene worth your attention.
